Day 1

Overview

In Day 1, we will provide an overview of the topics covered in Unit 2 and the project that students will complete during this unit. We will then cover how the Internet works by watching the Vox video "How Does the Internet Work?" and discussing key concepts within the video. Students will then begin reading and taking notes on the "The Internet as a System and Spirit" from Blown to Bits.

Day 1 will cover:

• Unit 2 topics and project expectations.
• How the Internet Works.
• The Internet as a System and Spirit.
